Today my kids thought I was the most awesome mom on the planet. Mostly because I checked them out of school for two hours to go to the Grapevine Legoland.
I mean, tomorrow is the last day of school.
Sometimes you just have to do what is best for kids even if the attendance clerk laughs when you tell her where your kids were all morning because you wanted to brag for being so cool. Just sayin’.
Our adventures included checking out the Grapevine Legoland Discovery Center gift shop, statues made of Legos, and the newest ride to Grapevine Legoland: Forest Ranger Patrol.
My kids may or may not have had to be reminded that this was police ranger driving and not bumper car driving.
Want to be a cool mom too? Forest Ranger Patrol at Grapevine Legoland Discovery Center in Dallas Fort Worth opens June 1, 2012 for everyone (read kids)! Legoland is located at the Grapevine Mills Mall in Grapevine, Texas right in the heart of DFW Metroplex. The ride is part of your admission price (get discounted tickets here).
And then I took the kids back to school for the rest of the school day. Because seriously today is my last day to get this house clean before summer is upon me.
Disclosure: Grapevine Legoland charged us nothing for this insane school skipping opportunity.
