Six months after my divorce I was walking down the country road that runs in front of my property when I felt inspired to begin blogging again. Life has changed so much in the three years that I took a blogging hiatus…I have five children now (2 girls and 3 boys), I moved to the middle of nowhere in North Texas, and I am now a single mom figuring out life and parenting on my own.
No matter the challenges I have been confronted with in my new life I feel so blessed! I own a 10 acre mini farm on the most gorgeous piece of property in North Texas. My children are living the country life milking goats twice a day, collecting eggs from our 40 chickens and ducks, fishing in our stocked pond, and getting a first-hand experience in the circle of life.
We also care for and tend a large organic garden on my property. We enjoy creating real homestead meals and recipes with vegetables from the garden, eggs from our birds, and fresh goats milk or cheese. We’re up early every morning and we don’t stay up late. My kids and I are enjoying country living and couldn’t ask for a better life.
I am truly learning to enjoy all aspects of my life with my children and the goals that I have to better our family. My biggest parenting goal right now is Mothering with a Purpose. I hope that through my stories and a little dose of country living you too will be inspired to be better in your life, your parenting, your talents, and your dreams.
I hope you’ll be inspired with a taste of country living or just getting back to your roots. I have many recipes to try and will be adding lots of DIY projects, crafts, and ideas for you and your kids.
I accept reviews and have experience partnering with several large brands such as General Motors, Coca Cola, Johnson & Johnson, and more. Here’s a link to my Media Kit.
