Okay, so I think I am hooked on Tillamook cheese! But cheese is easy to get hooked on, right?! Here’s my top five reasons why I am hooked on Tillamook cheese:
5.) My friend lived in Oregon when she was kid and he got to tour the Tillamook factory and eat free cheese. Apparently there is something called “squeaky cheese” (cheese curds) that she raves about. Even though I hate to admit, my friend is right about a lot of things and the great taste of Tillamook cheese is one of those things.
4.) Sharp Cheddar and Pepper Jack. Garlic Chili Pepper Cheddar and Smoked Black Pepper White Cheddar. Whether it’s a traditional cheese you already buy or a specialty cheese Tillamook has it. Only problem is they forgot to bring the Garlic Chili Pepper and Smoked Black Pepper White Cheddar to stores in Texas which is why I didn’t move this to number two.
3.) Tillamook cheese tastes great! Whether it was the Three Jack Mac and Cheese or the Shiner Bock Cheese Soup everything tasted great with Tillamook cheese in it! Check out more recipes HERE.
2.) Tillamook cheese is all natural and their dairy products are free of artifical growth hormones and antibiotics! They are also farmer owned! Read FAQs.
1.) Loaf Love Buses are too cute! I seriously did something I never do and looked up where they were today, drove on over and talked with the Tillamook folks who had set up in my town! I took home some buttons and other fun stuff, got my $1 off coupon (cheese is on sale!), and ate some free cheese during lunch! What beats that?
In the Dallas Fort Worth area? So is Tillamook and those super adorable buses! I’ll be taking my kids to see them tomorrow in Flower Mound at the Tom Thumb on FM 407! One can never have too much cheese, right? See ya there!
